Britney Spears accuses sister Jamie Lynn of lying for ‘Hollywood books’: ‘A whole new level of depression’

Britney Spears has accused her sister Jamie Lynn Spears of lying in her new book in a statement shared on social media.

This is the second time Spears has publicly attacked Jamie Lynn. The statements come after Jamie Lynn took part in interviews on ‘Good Morning America’ and ‘Nightline’ promoting his upcoming memoir.

In the memoir, Jamie Lynn writes about a time Britney allegedly locked the two in a room with a knife. However, Spears called these claims “crazy lies”.

“Please stop these crazy lies for Hollywood books,” Spears wrote on Friday.

Jamie lynn, 30, is gearing up for the Jan. 18 release of her memoir, “Things I Should Have Said.” But the upcoming outing was marred by controversy when Spears, 40, took to Instagram for the first time on Thursday to blast her younger sister and the rest of her family for taking advantage of her music career.

On Friday, Jamie Lynn reacted to Spears’ comments on social media.

“The last thing I want to do is this, but here we are… It’s hard to see these messages, because I know the world feels it too. I just wish him well. Brit, I’m still there, you know behind the scenes I’ve always been there. It’s gotten exhausting when the conversations and texts we have in private don’t match what you post on social media. I know you’re going through a lot and I never want to diminish that, but I also can’t diminish myself,” Jamie Lynn wrote in a lengthy statement shared on his Instagram on Friday.

The former Nickelodeon star went on to say that her book “isn’t about” her older sister.

“I can’t help but say that I was also born Spears and some of my experiences involve my sister. I worked hard even before I was a teenager, and I built my career despite being just someone little sister, “said the former” Zoey 101 “.
