Bachelor Nation mourns the loss of one of their own.
Former “Bachelorette” candidate Clint Arlis has passed away. He was 34 years old.
The season 11 alum’s death was announced on Twitter on Thursday by his high school wrestling trainer Scott Bayer.
“It is with a heavy heart and a sense of deep loss that we announce the passing of Clint Arlis (pictured left), one of the all-time greats of the Batavia wrestling program, 2005 graduate Clint was the beloved son of trainer Tom Arlis and his wife, Jamie, the protective and loving older brother of his sister, Taylor, and the childhood idol and best friend of his little brother, trainer Logan Arlis Bayer wrote in a series of tweets.

Arlis, an architectural engineer, was recalled by his former trainer for being “extraordinarily devoted to his family and deeply involved in athletic wrestling”. A cause of death was not given.
“On behalf of all of us in the Batavia Wrestling Family, we extend our deepest condolences to the Arlis family during this time of unimaginable grief and sorrow. To the Arlis family, we adored Clint. We love you,” concludes Bayer.
Arlis appeared in Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season of “The Bachelorette” in 2015.
The reality TV star and host took to Instagram after hearing the news on Friday morning.

“Okay, it’s an Instagram story that I wasn’t planning on doing tonight but Clint, who was on my Bachelorette season, I’m going to say tragically, he’s tragically passed away. 34 years old. I’m not sure what that is. happened, how it happened. All I want to say is that by knowing him on the show, even though things haven’t ended in the best possible way for us, since his time in the show until today I have heard nothing but amazing things about this person. From his peers, students, coaches, teachers, friends, family, Clint was highly respected in his world and it’s an absolute tragedy what happened, ”said Bristowe.
“I don’t know much right now and it’s none of my business. This Instagram story is literally about telling everyone who knows him, who might follow me, that I’m so sorry. It’s a huge loss. and I’m ‘I’m honestly right next to me with this news. If there’s anything I can do, anything just let me know and let’s just say a prayer or let’s be there for the family of Clint during this time. My God, I’m so sorry, “Bristowe concluded.

His colleague Nick Viall paid tribute to him online.
“I just heard of Clint Arlis passing away. I got to know Clint sometime after our stint on Kaitlyns season and I still love being [sic] time and conversation “, Viall, 41, wrote. “A very kind, unique and talented person who was taken out of this world far too soon. RIP Clint.”
