Fox, which continues to spread vaccine misinformation, now demands that all workers be vaccinated

Fox Corporation has announced it will abandon its COVID-19 testing option and demands all employees who work in its New York headquarters offices receive at least one coronavirus vaccine by December 27.

“Our policy reflects the guidelines of the mandate,” said a spokesperson for Fox Corp. to the New York Times, referring to New York City’s vaccine rule, which requires on-site workers at all businesses to be vaccinated.

The New York Workplace Mandate requires recipients of Pfizer and Moderna vaccines to receive a second dose, but the policy currently does not require recalls, ”the outlet notes.

More than 90 percent of Fox employees are fully vaccinated. This statistic was noted by Kevin Lord, senior vice president of Fox Corp, in September.

Following our request for employees to upload their immunization status to our secure system, we are happy to share that over 90% of our full-time employees have reported that they are fully immunized, ”Lord said in a note.

“This is important information that our company needs to know as we continue to implement our schedule and gradual return to office procedures,” he added.

Fox, via Fox News, continued to downplay the severity of COVID-19. pandemic even as New York is experiencing a surge of cases. Many of its hosts and commentators have continued to spread vaccine misinformation. The policy of Fox Corp. recalls that even those who have urged their viewers not to get vaccinated have already been vaccinated, underscoring the company’s desire to profit rather than save human lives.
