President Biden said:
The violent crowd of January 6, 2021, empowered and encouraged by a defeated former president, sought to win violence what he had lost in ballot box.
To impose the will of the crowd. To overthrow a free and righteous elections and, for the first time, first time in american history, to stop peace transfer of power. They missed. They missed., But democracy victory was not certain, nor the future of democracy. This is why we are here today for stand up against the forces of America that values power over principle. Forces that attempted a coup. A coup against the will of the American people by sewing doubt, fraud charges, looking to steal the 2020 election of the people. They want chaos to reign. We want the people to rule. Let me be clear. It’s not about me or the vice President Harris or the party. It’s about all of us. These are the people of America.
Corporate media are still dancing around 1/6. Too many of them call it a “riot” or an “insurgency”. Too many reporters have refused to do what Biden just did.
Biden accused Trump of attempting a coup.
President Biden was right.
We hope Biden’s words break the timid fear of the media and allow them to call 1.6 and the weeks leading up to what it was.
Donald Trump attempted a coup and Joe Biden is not afraid to say so.
